I Have a Goblet!

And as I type this, I have finally realised how much I appreciate that fact.
Yesterday at the finish and the presentation I must have appeared like a spoilt child and having a real down on myself for not running "my dream race". For that, to all of you, I apologise.
I finished in 30 hours 54 minutes and 49 seconds. Sore, tired and extremely grateful to my support runners and crew without whose presence I'd never have made it to the finish.
I'll spend some time writing up a full report. I'm not going anywhere for a few days, unless someone wants to carry me!

Well done Davie. Don't worry at all about your immediate reaction, which is a reflection on how tired you are at that stage and the pain you have put your body through. To finish is a fantastic achievement.
